встречал как-то на просторах инета патент американский на подобный метод улучшения звука (как утверждают авторы) путем проточки определенных размеров канавок на внешней части тела чашки мундштука. патенту примерно лет 50, но что-то до сих пор никто не ринулся делать их такими, хотя бы отдельными сериями.

Категорически не подходит.
